So for the past 2 years my acne has gotten worse. I have the most OILY/DRY face of life! I break out like none other. Its extremely bad on my forehead seeing as that's the most greasy part of me. And recently I've been getting pimples on my cheeks. Its not too bad but I didn't think I'd get them there since that part of my face is dry. I've been looking for ways on how to clear it up but not pay a whole lot of money. I've tried St. ives, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, Spectro gel, Clearsal. And NOTHING worked!!! My face isn't THAT bad anymore. I have uneven skin and scaring on my fore head and around my chin/mouth.
BUT before I go and try proactive and AcneFree, I am going to try Garnier Skin Naturals Pure. It's Anti-shine and for oily to combinations skin.
My Mom bought me the 3-in-1 Wash+Scrub+Mask and the Toner that tightens pores. It has Clay and Zinc in it.
The face wash eliminates excess sebum. The scrub unclogs pores. The face mask evens out skin tone. Face wash/ scrub can be used every day, but when you use it as a mask, you use it 2-3 times a week.
SO what exactly does the 3-in-1 do? It says it "mattifies skin, unclogs pores, and evens out skin tone for clearer skin that lasts up to 3 days"
Well see…
As for the Toner
It Tightens pores, is an anti-shine, with purifying agent+Zinc.
It says it "tightens pores, cleanses oily skin, and evens the complexion." It also has Eucalyptus extracts that gives you the feeling of fresh and purified skin.
Now when buying something for your face, you shouldn't expect it to work in a day or two, even though it says it will work in as little as 3 days! Give it a month to really see the difference. So as I go through the next month I will be updating you on my process. Hopefully by the time grad picture comes around (middle of next month) my face will be decent. I hope it will stay clear and shine less. I hate having to wear make up, even when its non-cosmodegenic make up, my face breaks out. Soo hopefully no shine powders anymore. I also have redness, so im hoping that gets better.
What have you tried and has it worked??
Xoxo,
Tanis <3
